Twilight on the Mississippi

DAY 1 – Monday, October 12 (D): Moline, IL

Your journey begins with morning pick-ups before arriving at the John Deere Pavilion, where interactive exhibits and legendary machines celebrate America’s agricultural heritage and innovation. Later, check into the Hyatt Place East Moline / Quad Cities, then enjoy a welcome dinner to kick off your river adventure.

DAY 2 – Tuesday, October 13 (B, L, D): Dubuque, IA

This morning, step aboard the Riverboat Twilight for a two-day cruise along the mighty Mississippi River. Admire sweeping views of bluffs and river towns as you enjoy freshly prepared meals, live entertainment, and commentary from the captain. By evening, arrive in Dubuque, Iowa, and check into the Grand Harbor Resort. Spend the evening at leisure—perhaps stroll the scenic riverwalk, visit the Diamond Jo Casino, enjoy a tasting at Stone Cliff Winery, or join the Trolleys of Dubuque for a guided city tour.

DAY 3 – Wednesday, October 14 (B, L, D): Moline, IL

After breakfast, explore the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium, where exhibits celebrate the river’s history, culture, and ecology. Then, reboard the Riverboat Twilight for your return voyage down the Mississippi. As the sun sets, dock once more in Le Claire, Iowa, and check into your Moline hotel for a relaxing evening.

DAY 4 – Thursday, October 15 (B): Home

After breakfast, begin your journey home with a stop at the Field of Dreams in Dyersville, Iowa. Step onto the famous baseball diamond surrounded by cornfields, relive the magic of the beloved movie, and snap photos at the iconic “If you build it, he will come” site. Afterward, enjoy lunch on your own before continuing home.
